During
the 10th anniversary special event, it was announced that the " Hibike!
Euphonium ( Sound!
Euphonium )" franchise will be getting a film that will
conclude the anime adaptation project. This film will be titled " Hibike!
Euphonium - The Final Movie " and is scheduled to
premiere sometime in 2026 in Japan .
However,
this is a film that will compile the events of the third season of the anime , which is understandable
considering that there is no more material left to adapt involving the
protagonist (in fact, it was a miracle that a third season was made with the
little material that remained).
For their
part, Ayano Takeda and Nikki Asada began
publishing the light novels through Takarajimasha publishing
house in December 2013, and completed it in June 2019 with a total of twelve
volumes. The work was adapted into a manga by Hami , who
published it between November 2014 and October 2015, with a total of three
compiled volumes.
The
franchise made the leap to anime through Kyoto Animation studios
, adding a total of thirty-nine episodes in three seasons released in Spring-2015
(April-June) , Fall-2016 (October-December) ,
and Spring-2024 .
