The highly
anticipated anime adaptation of the mystery comedy Detectives
These Days Are Crazy! revealed a new trailer on Friday
focusing on the character of Azuha Hoshino , a college student and
self-proclaimed mad scientist who lives directly below Detective Nagumo's
office.
The character will be voiced by renowned actress Fairouz Ai , who will bring to life this tireless inventor who develops strange artifacts every day in her personal laboratory. The trailer offers a first glimpse of her bubbly personality and the chaos she will bring to the lead detective duo.

is scheduled to premiere in Japan in July 2025 , which would
correspond to summer 2025 in Spain . The series promises a mix
of absurd humor and classic mystery , with a touch of madness
courtesy of its quirky characters.

The story
revolves around Keiichiro Nagumo , a legendary detective who
solved impossible cases over a decade ago, but who today doesn't even know how
to work a smartphone . His life takes a turn when Mashiro ,
a spirited high school student, appears and wants to be his assistant. Together
they make a most unlikely couple.

The series
is produced by LIDENFILMS under the direction of Rion
Kujo . The script is written by Rintaro Ikeda ,
while Isoroku Koga designs the characters and also serves as
chief animation director. The music is by Tomoki Kikuya .
The
original manga, created by Masakuni Igarashi , is serialized in ASCII
Media Works' Dengeki Maoh magazine . The series is
available in English through One Peace Books .
