In a recent update on the new anime adaptation of “ Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube ,” a project that had already generated buzz with its first promotional video, more important details about its premiere have finally been revealed.

The series will begin airing on July 2 with a one-hour special featuring the first two episodes , airing at 11:15 p.m. local time in Japan. Starting the following week, the anime will air every Wednesday at 11:45 p.m. as part of TV Asahi's "IMAnimation W" program. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the series will have a two-part split, with the second half scheduled for January 2026.

As if that weren't enough, an advance screening event has also been announced, featuring voice actor Ryoutarou Okiayu (who plays the protagonist Meisuke Nueno), for June 7 at TOHO Cinemas Ueno in Tokyo. Attendees will be able to preview episodes 1 and 2 of the anime. Ticket pre-sales via lottery will be open from May 12 to 18, and general on-sale will begin on May 25 at 10:00 a.m.

And as if all this weren't enough for nostalgic fans, a new manga series titled "Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS" will begin serialization on the Shonen Jump Plus app starting May 14. This spin-off, written by Shou Makura and with art again by Takeshi Okano, will tell untold stories that took place when Hiroshi Tateno, Kyoko Inaba, and the others were students in 5th grade, Class 3, at Domori Elementary School. The manga will be updated every Wednesday.
