Kirameki! Prism☆Tours revealed a new official trailer for
the upcoming film in the King of Prism franchise on Thursday .
The trailer not only features the ending theme song " Sparkling
Days" performed by the group SePTENTRION , but
also introduces an innovative projection method that will change the viewer's
experience.
One story, four possible destinations
The film
will implement a format called "Route-Branching Screening ,"
in which part of the main story will be modified weekly depending on the
selected route. Below are the details of each:
- Route 1: Warera ga Seishun Over
the Rainbow –
Explores the deep friendship between Kōji, Hiro, and Kazuki .
- Route 2: Densetsu no King Cup – Relive the exciting
finale of the “Prism King Cup” tournament , originally
from King of Prism: PRIDE the HERO .
- Route 3: Kiseki no Queen Cup – Showcasing the intense
female battles of Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live ’s “Over
the Rainbow Session” tournament .
- Route 4: Yume to Mirai Hajimari
no Monogatari –
A nostalgic look back at the iconic shows and moments from the Pretty
Rhythm series .
A
journey through time to heal the soul
The story
takes place a few months after the PRISM.1 tournament ,
where Shin Ichijo gave an unforgettable performance, but with
no memories of it. Despite achieving his long-awaited performance at the “Rose
Party” , he still feels incomplete. To cheer him up, his fellow
SePTENTRION members invite him aboard a secret time machine that
takes them to “Dear Crown Christmas Live” , their first
group concert. There, they begin a tour of past performances, including those
of the legendary trio Big Three .
A new
character threatens the harmony
The film
will feature the participation of Japanese model and actor Satsuki
Nakayama , who will voice Ai Kannazuki , a mysterious
young man sent from the Prism World with a disturbing mission:
to eliminate Louis .
More
guests and new original music
In addition
to the return of classic characters, the film will feature appearances by Pretty
Rhythm and Idol Time PriPara . The new insert theme
song "Lovepara! -Endless Love, Love-" by SePTENTRION
will also be featured.
A team
of veterans behind the project
Masakazu
Hishida returns
as general director at Tatsunoko Productions ,
writing the script under the pen name Jou Aoba . He is joined
by returning talent such as Mai Matsuura on character design
and Rei Ishizuka on the soundtrack. Sound production is being
handled by Nobuto Kojima , and distribution will be handled
by Avex Film Labels .
Release
date in Japan
The film
will be released in Japanese theaters on Thursday, June 27 , a
date at which fans can immerse themselves in a show filled with nostalgia,
surprises, and excitement.
King of
Prism is
a spin-off of the Pretty Rhythm franchise , whose
first film was released in January 2016. Since then, it has
spawned multiple films and a television series, establishing itself as one of
the most colorful and dynamic offerings in contemporary musical anime.
