After keeping fans on tenterhooks since 2022, the popular Chinese drama Link Click has finally confirmed that its third season is on the way. The announcement came via the series' official social media channels , accompanied by a short teaser introducing a new character: Jae Lee .

This new season will arrive sometime in 2026 , with no specific date yet, and promises to be the longest so far , with an estimated duration of 24 episodes .

A phenomenon that crossed borders

The success of Link Click marked a turning point in Chinese animation. Its story blends drama, suspense, and time travel through the lives of Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang , who run a peculiar photography studio with the power to alter the past.

With just one photograph, Cheng can transport himself to the moment it was taken and take on the role of the photographer, while Lu guides him from the present. But they have one very clear rule: they only have 12 hours to change things without altering the story too much.

The series, which has been streamed on Crunchyroll , has captivated with both its visual style and its complex, emotional narrative. Since its debut, it has helped cement Studio LAN's position as a powerhouse of Chinese animation, and has also been involved in other projects such as To Be Hero X , another recent hit.

A wait that will be worth it

Production on this third installment has been longer than the previous ones, but expectations are higher than ever. While further plot details are lacking, the teaser hints that Jae Lee will play an important role in the events to come.

With more episodes and an ever-expanding story, Link Click is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious series on the donghua scene, and further proof that Chinese animation is ready to compete at the highest level .

Get ready to return to animation's most mysterious photography studio in 2026. The third season of Link Click is underway... and it promises to leave no one indifferent.
