The production of the anime May I Ask for One Final Thing? has released a new trailer dedicated entirely to its protagonist, Scarlet the Vandimension. In this preview, we see how the disgraced noblewoman leaves behind her etiquette and fights her way down a path of revenge and redemption. Actress Asami Seto plays Scarlet, a heroine who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty if it means taking justice into her own hands.

A story of betrayal, courage, and a strong fistfight

The story begins when Scarlet is publicly humiliated in the middle of a ball: her fiancé, Kyle, breaks off their engagement and falsely accuses her of harassment. The aristocracy soon turns its back on her, unfairly branding her a "villain." Tired of enduring years of abuse and hypocrisy, Scarlet asks for only one last thing: to punch Kyle in the face. Thus begins an adventure filled with revenge, pride, and inner strength.

The team behind the anime

The series is directed by Kazuya Sakamoto at LIDENFILMS, with the main collaboration of the Kyoto studio of the same group. Deko Akao is in charge of series composition, while Eriko Haga designs the characters. The music is by Hinako Tsubakiyama, and Satoshi Motoyama serves as sound director.

Origins in the Light Novel and Manga

The original story began as a light novel written by Ootori with illustrations by Satsuki, published in 2018. A manga adaptation by Sora Hoonoki began in 2020. Alpha Manga currently publishes the English version of the work.

The series blends the elegant aesthetics of nobility with a combative and rebellious attitude, portraying a protagonist who is unwilling to continue being a victim of the aristocratic system that betrayed her.

Expected Premiere Date

According to official trailers, May I Ask for One Final Thing? is scheduled to premiere in the Fall 2025 season. Fans of drama, action, and relentless protagonists already have a date marked on their calendars.

With its refined visual style and a narrative that combines broken romance and spirited combat, this series is set to be one of next year's most intense surprises.
