The
official website for the Tsuyokute New Saga anime ,
based on the light novel by Masayuki Abe , has revealed two
new members of the voice cast, as well as the artists in charge of performing
the main themes of the series, which will premiere in July
2025 .
Singer 4s4ki will
perform the opening theme song “Enja” (Actor),
while Mahiru Coda will sing the closing theme song “her .
”
Two
important voices join the cast
New additions to the cast include:

Hikasa as Yūriga
A
long-awaited premiere after a year's delay
The anime,
which was originally scheduled to premiere in July 2023 , was
postponed due to "various circumstances" and will now arrive in July
2025 through the Tokyo MX and ABC channels
.
The
production has undergone several changes. The director will now be Naoki
Mizusawa, in collaboration with Sotsu x Studio Clutch and STUDIO
MASSKET , replacing Norikazu Ishigooka and the studios Makaria and
Yokohama Animation Lab.
Technical
team and origin of the project
The script
remains in the hands of Kenta Ihara ( The Saga of
Tanya the Evil ), while the original character designs are being done
by Nilitsu ( DanMachi ). Atsushi
Asahi remains as the character designer for the animation. The
soundtrack will be composed by Shachō (of SOIL & “PIMP”
SESSIONS) and Hironori Anazawa ( Birdie Wing , Scarlet
Nexus ).
A second
chance in a devastated world
The story
follows Kyle , a hero who manages to defeat the Demon
King with the last of his strength. However, just before he dies, he
is sent four years into the past. With all his knowledge of the future, he will
try to change the fate of the world and prevent the tragedy he once
experienced.
From web
novel to anime
The
original work began as a web novel in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2012 ,
before being moved to AlphaPolis in 2013. Its
first print novel arrived in April of that year with illustrations by Ryūta
Fuse , and its 10th volume was published in June 2018 .
The manga
adaptation , illustrated by Jun Miura , began
in February 2014 and ended in July 2023. Volume
10 was released in October 2022, and volume 11, the final volume, is in
preparation. The manga is also serialized in English under the title New
Saga through the Alpha Manga service.
With its
powerful premise of time travel and the reinvention of
fate , Tsuyokute New Saga is set to become one of the
most anticipated isekai titles of the summer.
