The plot revolves around Takuto Ira, a legendary player of the strategy video game Eternal Nations, who unexpectedly wakes up in a world identical to the one in the game after losing consciousness during a hospitalization. There he reunites with his favorite unit, Sludge Atou, and decides to build the evil empire of Mynoghra from scratch, starting a campaign of conquest on a devastated continent: Idoragya.

Production and talent behind the apocalypse

The anime is directed by Yuji Yanase (By the Grace of the Gods) under the animation of the Maho Film studio. The music, a key piece in this dark setting, is the work of Kujira Yumemi and Midori Narikiyo.

In addition, the trailer lets us hear for the first time the closing theme titled "more than W", performed by Takuma Terashima, who will also participate in the soundtrack.

A dark isekai for strategy lovers

Based on the original light novels by Fehu Kazuno and illustrated by JunApocalypse Bringer Mynoghra bets on an uncommon mix of apocalyptic fantasy, military strategy and civilizational evolution. The anime promises to differentiate itself from the typical isekai by exploring the moral dilemmas of a protagonist who chooses to build a kingdom of darkness and corruption.
