an adaptation of the Tenmaku no Jādūgar manga by Tomato
Soup, revealed a first "visual super teaser" along with
the confirmation that the series will premiere sometime in 2026.

An
internationally acclaimed manga
The
original manga, titled A Witch's Life in Mongolian, has been
licensed by Yen Press, which published the first volume in English
on May 27. The story is set in the thirteenth century, during the
height of the Mongol Empire. The protagonist is Fatima,
a woman originally from Persia who masters medical techniques and scientific
knowledge ahead of her time. Her journey takes her to the heart of the empire,
where she becomes a key figure under the tutelage of Töregene, the
sixth wife of Ögedei Khan.
The work
portrays the clash of cultures, female power and political games within the
palace, making these two women the axis of the destiny of one of the greatest
civilizations in history.
Publication
and recognitions
Tomato Soup
launched the manga on Akita Shoten's Souffle site
in September 2021. Since March of this year, it has also been published
simultaneously in the magazine Mystery Bonita. Currently, the manga
is published bimonthly, but will go on hiatus during the summer due to the
author's maternity leave, with plans to resume next year.
