The
anime With You and the Rain (Love to Kimi to), based on
the manga of Kō Nikaidō, has revealed a new promotional
visual, various members of the voice cast and its official
release date: the July 5th to the 1:30 a.m. (
Japanese time ), which is equivalent to 18:30 on July 4 ( Spain
time, UTC + 2 ).
The series
will be broadcast through TV Asahi and others 23
affiliated chains inside the programming block NUMANimation.
Further, Crunchyroll will offer it in simulcast for the rest
of the world.
Early projection with the cast
Before the
television premiere, a early function the June 29 in
the United Cinema Minatomirai in Japan, with the presence of
several cast members. It will be an exclusive opportunity to enjoy the first
episode with the protagonists.
A story
as absurd as it is charming
The anime
adapts the surreal comedy of Kō Nikaidō, published since 2020 in
the magazine Young Magazine. The manga, which already has seven
volumes, is digitally edited in English by Kodansha USA.

revolves around a woman who one day adopts what appears to be a dog ...
although no one is completely sure if it is. Still, he accepts it as part of

Animation
is being produced by the studio Lesprit, under the direction
of Tomohiro Tsukimisato (Bikkuri-Men, Tanuki to
Kitsune). Tōko Machida (7th Time Loop) handles the
script, while Ayano Ōwada (How Clumsy you are, Miss Ueno)
is in charge of character design.
With an
original and unusual proposal, With You and the Rain promises
to be one of the more curious surprises of the 2025 summer
season.
