Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Releases Video Starring Kanna

The official website for the film Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved surprised fans with the release of a special video starring Kanna Kamui, where she performs her own version of the ending theme song "Bokutachi no Hibi" (Our Days).



In this new version, Kanna's sweet and serene voice (played by Maria Naganawa) replaces the original interpretation of the renowned enka singer Sachiko Kobayashi. The video clip features a compilation of endearing scenes from Kanna from both the anime and the film, offering a dose of nostalgia that has moved the fan community.


A musical tribute that touches the heart


This special version of the song is included in the album "Complete Musical Works", released in Japan on June 27. The CD compiles the most outstanding pieces of music from the franchise, including songs from the original series and the recent film. The album cover was also revealed alongside the video, highlighting the emotional and artistic focus of this musical compilation.



The film continues its international tour


After the success of its two seasons in 2017 and 2021, the feature film Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to Be Loved arrived in Japanese theaters on June 27, managing to position itself in ninth place in its first weekend of release.


Crunchyroll has acquired the worldwide distribution rights (except in Asia) and has already confirmed that the film will be released in North America with original Japanese audio and English subtitles.

The quiet lives of Miss Kobayashi, Tohru, Kanna, and Iruru are cut short when Kamun Kamui, Kanna's father and leader of the Forces of Chaos, appears to force her to return to the Dragon World and right a wrong from the past.


With a war looming between Chaos and Harmony, Kanna must find a way to unite the two worlds, torn between loyalty to her friends and her father's demands. Miss Kobayashi, however, is unwilling to let her go and struggles to repair the broken bond between Kanna and Kamui.


As the dragons collide, Iruru discovers a hidden force manipulating the conflict. Will they manage to stop the war before it destroys both worlds?
