The
official website of the Potion, Waga Mi wo Tasukeru anime
presented a second promotional trailer in which it is confirmed that the series
will premiere in Japan on October 2, 2025 (03:00 a.m. on
October 3 in Spain). This teaser reveals the voices of the main
characters Kaede, played by Kaede Hondo (Sakura
Minamoto in ZOMBIE LAND SAGA), and Asuru,
played by Takeo Otsuka (Teruaki Nakamura in OKITSURA).
Production Details
The series
is an adaptation of the isekai fantasy light novel written by Akira
Iwafune and illustrated by Sunaho Tobe. The animation is
in charge of Animation ID within its Light Anime line,
which also includes titles such as Moriarty's Perfect Crime, Lockdown
Zone: Level X and With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken
Saintess.
Mikiko
Furukawa (Moriarty's
Perfect Crime) is directing the project, with Yuichi Imaizumi as
sound director. The music is provided by bermei.inazawa,
while Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio collaborate
on the production.
The
synopsis of the story
The plot
follows Kaede, an ordinary high school student who wakes up in an
alley of an unknown world, inhabited by beasts, elves and dragons. In his
backpack he discovers a mysterious book capable of creating magic
potions just by pronouncing the word "creation". These
potions become his main tool to survive in this new environment. As she
searches for a way to return to Japan, Kaede must face all kinds of challenges
in a world full of dangers and wonders.
