Hiroshi Tanaka's Kippo manga will come to an end with volume 30

The most recent compilation volume of the Kippo manga, created by Hiroshi Tanaka, confirmed that the work will conclude with its 30th volume, scheduled to be released in winter 2025. Volume 29 went on sale in Japan on Monday and revealed that the next one will be the definitive closure of the story.


A Story of Friendship and Resistance


The manga narrates the life of a group of young people from Hiroshima who fight to protect what they consider most important. What begins as a peaceful daily life is soon shaken by unexpected conflicts, leading the protagonists to demonstrate their strength, loyalty and friendship in the midst of adversity. The work brings together multiple stories that portray these "legendary boys of Hiroshima".

Hiroshi Tanaka, also recognized for titles such as Bad Boys and Megami no Oni, began publishing Kippo in 2012 within Young King magazine of the Shonengahosha publishing house. Since then, the series has managed to sustain itself for more than a decade, consolidating itself as one of the most representative stories of the mangaka in the action and youth genre.
