Magazine's online manga service Comic Elmo revealed that Yoroida's work, #Kanagawa
ni Sunderu Elf (The Elves Who Live in Kanagawa), will have two new
adaptations: a live-action drama that will premiere on September
30, 2025, and a light anime that will debut in December
2025. Both projects will be broadcast within the local program Neko
no Hitai Hodo Wide of Television Kanagawa (tvk).

confirmed cast includes:
- Sion Yoshitaka as the Yokohama Elf
- Ryōtarō Akazawa as the Kawasaki Human
- Teruhisa Takura (member of THE SUPER
FRUIT) as Yokosuka's Elf
- Junya Asada as the Elf of Chigasaki
- Rion Hatakeyama as the Sagamihara Elf
- Ryūga
Akahane as Machida's Orc
The
direction and script of the drama are in charge of Oolongta Yoshida.
Fantastic
comedy
The plot of
the manga follows a group of elves who, after losing their
home in the forest due to a fire, must adapt to common life in Kanagawa.
Between comedy and fantasy, the story shows how these magical creatures try to
integrate into a modern urban environment.
Origin
of the manga
Yoroida
released the work in August 2020 through Comic Elmo. The first
compilation volume was published in 2021, and to date five volumes
have been published, the most recent being released on March 10, 2025.
