My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me! Reveals Main Trailer and Confirms Premiere

The official website for the animated adaptation of Ghost Mikawa's My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me! (Tomodachi no Imōto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai) light novel series on Monday shared a new main visual, its promotional trailer, and the release date: October 4.



The video not only features previously unreleased scenes, but also reveals the musical themes. The opening theme is titled "Uza Kawaikute Nani ga Warui!" performed by Karubi Akami, while the ending theme song "Hoshi no Kodō" will be performed by Kohana Lam.

The anime will premiere on October 4 at 6:30 p.m. (Spain) within the NUMAnimation block of TV Asahi and 23 other affiliated networks. It will then arrive on BS11 on October 5 and AT-X on October 6.


Synopsis of the story


The plot follows Akiteru Ōboshi, a student who always ends up being despised by girls, without achieving a single romance. His biggest priority is to secure a future for his video game development group at his uncle's company. However, everything changes when his uncle forces him to pretend to be his daughter's boyfriend. From then on, he must face the mockery and jealousy of Iroha Kohinata, the sister of his best friend, who does not stop bothering him at all times.

Kazuomi Koga (Rent-A-GirlfriendThe Dreaming Boy Is a Realist) is directing, while Tōko Machida (Lucky StarWake Up, Girls!) is supervising and writing the scripts. The character design falls to Katsuyuki Sato (My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex).


About the original work


The first novel, illustrated by tomari, debuted in April 2019. It currently has 11 volumes published by SB Creative, the most recent released on March 15. In addition, Hira Hiraoka publishes a manga adaptation on Square Enix's Manga UP! app, whose tenth compilation volume will go on sale on October 7.
