transported to a fantasy world. While his teammates are given heroic roles, he

Going
from web novel to animated adaptation
Matsuri
Akai began
publishing the work in 2017 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform.
Later, the publisher OVERLAP released the first physical
volume with illustrations by Tōzai in November of that same
year, reaching the fourth volume in February 2021.
The manga
adaptation, by Hiroyuki Aigamo, debuted in 2018 in Comic
Gardo. After a hiatus in 2020 due to the author's health, serialization
resumed in 2022. Currently, publisher Seven Seas Entertainment publishes
both the light novel and the manga in the West, and plans to release the sixth
compilation volume on November 25.
