The second
part of the Sakamoto Days anime introduces the
long-awaited TCG transfer exam arc starting in episode 17,
accompanied by an eye-catching trailer and a new promotional visual that
elevate the action and excitement of this key phase.
Reinforcements
in the cast
Three additions to the Japanese roster were announced today:
- Hisako
Kanemoto as Nao Toramaru
- Tomoaki Maeno as Joichiro Kaji
- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Shinaya
These new
characters promise to add tension and dynamism to the plot during this secret
exam that pits Sakamoto and Shin against new challenges.
High-level
production
Production
remains in the hands of studio TMS Entertainment, with Masaki
Watanabe directing, Taku Kishimoto composing the
series, Yo Moriyama leading character design, and Yuki
Hayashi composing the soundtrack. The original manga was created
by Yuto Suzuki.
The exam

In this arc
– adapting chapters 55 to 72 of the manga – Sakamoto and Shin infiltrate the
TCG posing as aspirants to discover the truth about the mysterious Slur
organization. It is a decisive moment in the story, where the action takes
center stage and the tone becomes more intense than in previous arcs.
