Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei's official X (formerly Twitter) account announced that the manga Tis Time for "Torture," Princess (Hime-sama, "Gōmon" no Jikan Desu) will reach its final chapter on August 19 in Japan. This will put an end to a story that has conquered thousands of readers thanks to its peculiar mixture of humor and absurd situations.

The play, written by Haruhara (also known as Senyū.) and illustrated by Hirakei, debuted on Shonen Jump+ in April 2019. Throughout these years, the series accumulated 17 compilation volumes, the most recent released on May 2. In October of that same year, the MANGA Plus platform began offering the work in English to international readers.

Pause and return before the farewell

Last December, the manga went on temporary hiatus due to Haruhara's health problems, but the author resumed publication on December 31, thus directing the story towards its denouement.

The anime will continue with more adventures

Despite the manga coming to an end, the franchise will continue in the field of anime. The second season already has a premiere date scheduled for January 2026, with global distribution through Crunchyroll in regions such as North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

The first season aired in January 2024 on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels, in addition to the ABEMA platform. It also had a simulcast on Crunchyroll and was made up of a total of 12 episodes.
