Robinson
Haruhara and Hirakei's official X (formerly
Twitter) account announced that the manga Tis Time for
"Torture," Princess (Hime-sama, "Gōmon" no
Jikan Desu) will reach its final chapter on August 19 in
Japan. This will put an end to a story that has conquered thousands of readers
thanks to its peculiar mixture of humor and absurd situations.
The play,
written by Haruhara (also known as Senyū.) and illustrated by
Hirakei, debuted on Shonen Jump+ in April 2019. Throughout
these years, the series accumulated 17 compilation volumes, the
most recent released on May 2. In October of that same year, the MANGA
Plus platform began offering the work in English to international
readers.
Pause
and return before the farewell
Last
December, the manga went on temporary hiatus due to Haruhara's
health problems, but the author resumed publication on December 31, thus
directing the story towards its denouement.
The
anime will continue with more adventures
Despite the
manga coming to an end, the franchise will continue in the field of
anime. The second season already has a premiere date scheduled
for January 2026, with global distribution through Crunchyroll in
regions such as North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the
Middle East, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Indian
subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
The first
season aired in January 2024 on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels,
in addition to the ABEMA platform. It also had a simulcast on
Crunchyroll and was made up of a total of 12 episodes.
