Saori Hayami to perform the ending theme song for Record of Ragnarok III

The production of Record of Ragnarok III, the third installment of the popular anime based on the manga by Shinya UmemuraAzychika and Takumi Fukui, has confirmed that Saori Hayami will perform the ending theme titled "Last breath, Last record". Hayami herself has written the lyrics, inspired by the essence and vision of the world that the story raises.


The world premiere is scheduled for December 2025 via Netflix, marking a new chapter in the battle between gods and humans.


A reinforced cast for new battles


This season will incorporate Makoto Furukawa as Nikola TeslaDaisuke Namikawa as BeelzebubHiroshi Shirokuma as King Leonidas and Kenichi Suzumura as Apollo.


In addition, it will have a renewed production team, with Kōichi Hatsumi (Tokyo Revengers) as director at Yumeta Company × Maru AnimationYasuyuki Mutō as head writer, and Yōko Tanabe along with Hisashi Kawashima as character designers. Yasuharu Takanashi returns to compose the soundtrack.


The Seventh Decisive Battle


The plot will continue to explore the 13 one-on-one battles for humanity's survival, pitting deities and historical figures against each other. In this installment, the seventh fight will be lived, decisive to break the 3-3 tie on the scoreboard. A confrontation full of intensity, blood and unwavering convictions.


From its beginnings to the current phenomenon and beyond


The first season debuted on Netflix in June 2021, followed by Record of Ragnarok II, the first part of which arrived in January 2023 and the second in July of the same year. The original manga began serialization in November 2017 in Comic Zenon magazine and features several spin-offs, such as Shūmatsu no Walküre Kitan: Jack the Ripper no Jikenbo and Ryo Fu Hō Sen Hishōden. In June 2024, Shūmatsu no Walküre Kinden: Kamigami no Apocalypse was released, further expanding the universe.


The franchise has also expanded into the world of video games with the mobile RPG Record of Ragnarok: The Day of Judgment, available from March 31, offering fans the opportunity to relive the most iconic fights in an interactive format.
