Cast and details of the protagonist

Voice actress Kana Ichinose, known for playing Suletta Mercury in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, will play Suzume Tachibana. Suzume is a maid from a mansion in England who, after her collapse during a trip to Japan, decides to stay in the country to discover its gastronomy.

Ichinose said, "Reading the original manga during the audition, I was touched by Suzume-chan's calmness and sweetness. Their reactions to trying different foods are adorable. I will do my best to convey that tenderness and hope you enjoy the warm daily life of Suzume and her friends."

The direction is in charge of Ryosuke Senbo (Yo-Kai Watch), with a script by Natsuko Takahashi (Anne Shirley) and Saeka Fujimoto. About the original manga

Maeya's work has been published on Kodansha's Comic Days digital platform since December 2019 and currently has four compilation volumes. In its English edition, the synopsis describes the story of a maiden trapped in Japan for a year who decides to immerse herself in the local culture by trying all kinds of dishes, from taiyaki and melon bread to takoyaki and onigiri. A culinary experience that not only whets your appetite, but also that of the spectators.
