During
the Aniplex Online Fest event, a new teaser of Rakuen
Tsuihō -Expelled from Paradise- Kokoro no Resonance, the long-awaited film
sequel to the 2014 film that marked a before and after in animated science
fiction, was presented.
A sequel
that arrives more than a decade later
The
original film, directed by Seiji Mizushima and written
by Gen Urobuchi, was released in 2014 and was recognized for its
science fiction proposal and 3D animation. Now, more than a decade later, Kokoro
no Resonance will continue the story with a new feature film that will
debut in theaters during 2026.
Names
and title changes
Initially,
the production was announced under the title Rakuen Tsuihō: Liberated
from Paradise, although it was later officially confirmed as Rakuen
Tsuihō -Expelled from Paradise- Kokoro no Resonance. The Rakuen
Tsuihō: Kokoro no Resonance variant has also been used in various
promotional materials.
More
information in November
At the
moment no details of the story or the production team have been shared,
although Aniplex assured that more information about this new project will be
revealed in November. The expectation is high, as the original film combined
action, philosophy and a visual section that is still remembered today as a
technical milestone.
