The
official One Punch Man website unveiled a second promotional
video for the anime's third season, which includes the opening theme performed
by JAM Project. The series confirmed its premiere for October
5, with J.C. Staff again in charge of animation.
Season 3
will air on TV Tokyo, TV Hokkaido, TV Aichi, TV
Osaka, TV Setouchi, and TV Kyushu. The first
episode, corresponding to chapter 25 in the overall count of the franchise,
will be officially broadcast on October 12 at 11:45 p.m.
(Japan Standard Time).
Theme
songs and cast
In addition
to the opening by JAM Project, it was confirmed that Makoto
Furukawa, voice of Saitama, will perform the closing theme of
the season.
Production
Staff
The
direction is in charge of Shinpei Nagai, with Tomohiro
Suzuki in the composition of the series. The character design is
by Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryosuke
Shirakawa, while the music will be composed by Makoto Miyazaki.
Background
of the franchise
ONE created the original webcomic
in 2009, which later received a remake illustrated by Yusuke
Murata in 2012. The manga is published on Shueisha's Tonari
no Young Jump portal, and Viz Media distributes the
work in English.
The anime
debuted in 2015 with a first season animated by MADHOUSE, while
the second was produced by J.C. Staff and aired in 2019.
The third season was announced in August 2024, and now confirms its
long-awaited return.
