During the broadcast of the event Fantasia Bunko Housoukyoku Aki no Dai Kanshasai, the publisher Kadokawa he confirmed that the television special of I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World it will be released at the end of march 2026. This new episode will expand on the story of the anime originally broadcast in 2023, based on the light novels written by Miku and illustrated by Rein Kuwashima.
The special marks the return of the production team and main cast, with the intention of connecting the plots between the first season and future adaptations of the project.
Production team
Shin Itagaki (Cop Craft, Teekyuu) resumes directing in the studio Millepensee, accompanied again by Hiromi Kimura in character design. Planning and production are in charge of UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS, while Kadokawa supervises the distribution and promotion of the project.

The original anime premiered in april 2023 and it had 13 episodes transmitted by Crunchyroll. The franchise currently has more than 4 million copies in circulation, and its 19th volume was published on October 18, 2025. There are also two series derived from light novels and a browser video game released in july 2024 under the title Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musousuru - Level Up wa Jinsei o Kaeta: Parallel Universe.
