The anime production team The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest presented his second promotional video and a new main visual. Furthermore, they were revealed three additions to the cast who will accompany the protagonists in this television adaptation based on the light novel written by High and illustrated by Yuunagi.
The new cast members are Yoko Hikasa as Olivia, Kishou Taniyama as Glory and Shougo Sakata as Melea Dial. The series premiered on October 4th and it is currently transmitted through Crunchyroll for various territories outside Japan.
A story of magic and redemption
The plot follows a former royal magistrate who, after being expelled from court, decides to perfect his support magic to become the most powerful. High he began publishing the story on Shousetsuka ni Narou in october 2020, while Kodansha he released the printed version with illustrations by Yuunagi in august 2021. The fifth volume was published in august 2024.
Adaptations and expansion of the project
The manga, illustrated by Yuuki Monji, debuted in july 2021 through the application Magazine Pocket from Kodansha, a month before the physical edition of the novel. With the recent promotional material, the production seeks to maintain the interest of fans and consolidate itself as one of the new fantasy proposals of the fall season.
