About the work
Tsuyoshi Takaki, also known for his current work Heart Gear, released Black Torch in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in 2016. The series, which concluded with five volumes, tells the story of Jiro Azuma, a young descendant of ninjas who can talk to animals and who ends up merging with a powerful mononoke named Rago to save his life, joining a covert espionage unit.
