The romantic and psychological war will have a final battle before the end of the year. The production team of the anime Kaguya-sama: Love is War has revealed the full promotional video for their new TV special titled Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Otona e no Kaidan (The Steps to Become an Adult). The announcement confirmed that this long-awaited episode will premiere on December 31 at 10:00 p.m. (Japan time) on channels such as Tokyo MX.
The trailer teased the new opening theme, titled "Abunai Kioku" (Dangerous Memory). The song marks the return of Masayuki Suzuki, the "king of love songs" of the franchise, who this time performs the song with Aoi Koga, the voice actress of Kaguya Shinomiya herself.
Koga expressed his excitement: "To think that I would have the opportunity to sing the opening along with Masayuki Suzuki, who has supported the series since the first season, still gives me chills all over my body."

Based on the manga by Aka Akasaka, which ended in 2022, the series has had three anime seasons and a successful movie. This special promises to be the finishing touch to close the year with the members of the Student Council of Shuchiin Academy.
