It has been officially confirmed that the Kaiju Girl Caramelise (Otome Kaiju Caramelize) manga will have an anime adaptation that will hit television in 2026. The announcement was accompanied by a promotional video that shows us the peculiar life of Kuroe Akaishi, a girl who combines the clumsiness of a shojo protagonist with the ferocity of a giant monster.

The trailer highlights not only Kuroe's endearing personality, but also stunning CG sequences of his transformation into the Kaiju Halgon, promising a unique blend of school romance and tokusatsu action.

The LIDENFILMS studio is in charge of the animation, under the direction of Teruyuki Omine (episode director on Attack on Titan The Final Season and Spy×Family). The composition of the series falls to Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream!), while Mitomi Nakayama is in charge of character design. The series is being produced by GOOD SMILE FILM.
