The bomb girl has detonated an explosion, but this time it was on social networks. Reze, the protagonist of the movie Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, has officially broken the record for the most liked anime post of all time on X (formerly Twitter). The viral video, posted by musician Kenshi Yonezu to promote his track "IRIS OUT," shows the character performing a dance that has captivated millions.

Monstrous figures and hidden references
At the time of writing, the post has accumulated more than 844,000 likes and more than 45 million views. But the success of the "Reze Dance" is not only because of the TikTok-style movements; the choreography created by Bunkei and animated by MAPPA (with Akiko Kudo in the key animation) is full of winks for fans of red bone:
- Reze covers his eyes with his hands in a circle (reference to Denji in the cafeteria).
- He sticks out his tongue (like on his date with Denji).
- Extend your arms towards the camera (mimicking the iconic pool scene).
- The final movement of pulling the pin on his neck to transform.
The King of Anime in X
Although it's difficult to quantify every post in the platform's history, X's AI and analysts suggest that this is, in fact, the most popular strictly anime (not manga) post. It overcomes previous confusions, such as a hashtag by Jungkook (#JJK) that did not refer to the series. However, in the manga field, the king is still Yoshihiro Togashi, whose tweet announcing the return of Hunter x Hunter in 2022 boasts 1.3 million likes.
