Lelouch vi Britannia orders you to celebrate! The Code Geass franchise has thrown the house out of the window during the "Code Geass Project 'To 20th'" event. To commemorate its impending 20th anniversary, multiple massive projects have been revealed, including an all-new anime, a dream collaboration with Gundam, and broadcast dates for its current works.
The biggest announcement is the production of Code Geass: Hoshi Oi no Aspar (Aspar the Star Chaser). This work is presented as a new chapter that "reinvents the world of Code Geass". The creative team is brand new:
- Director: Kazuya Nomura (Moriarty the Patriot, Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie).
- Scripts: Mado Nozaki (Hello World, KADO: The Right Answer).
- Character Design: Rolua.
- Mecha Design (Agarmatha): Yoshi.
Crossover with Gundam Wing and Rozé on TV
In a historic collaboration, a manga was announced that will unite the universes of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (which celebrates its 30th anniversary). The manga will be created by Tomofumi Ogasawara (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re; surrection). More details will be revealed soon.
In addition, it was confirmed that the Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture anime will begin airing on Japanese television in July 2026.
