The final confrontation of the Medicine Seller already has a date. Twin Engine released the first official trailer for Gekijoban Mononoke Dai-San-Sho: Hebigami (Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 3: Snake God), the third and final installment in the franchise's film trilogy. The video revealed that the film will hit theaters in Japan on May 29, 2026.
The announcement was accompanied by a shocking visual teaser that shows the protagonist falling into an unearthly void, his clothes soaked in blood and holding a new exorcism tool: a Mirror.
