The hero's
dream does not stop halfway. After the broadcast of episode 12 on TOKYO MX, the
anime Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider (Toujima Tanzaburou
wa Kamen Rider ni Naritai) surprised viewers with an official announcement:
the series will have two consecutive cours, reaching a total
of 24 episodes.
With only
one episode left to close out the year, the production has clarified the
schedule:
- Episode 13 (2025 finale) will air
on December 27.
- The series will resume in 2026
with Episode 14 on January 10.
New
Threat: Bat Man
Alongside
the announcement of the series extension, a "special two-cours
back-to-back video teaser" was released. The footage highlights the
emergence of a powerful new enemy: Bat Man. This raises the tension
over how Tanzaburo Tojima and his companions will face the growing threats of
Spider Man, Bat Man and the Shocker fighters.
Synopsis
The story
follows Tanzaburo Tojima, a 40-year-old man who keeps intact his childhood
dream of becoming a Kamen Rider. When he is about to give up, he becomes
embroiled in incidents caused by a "Fake Shocker", kicking off a
"real" Kamen Rider role-playing game, serious and heartwarming
starring adults.
