The magic
of the seasons is ready to blossom on the small screen. Aniplex has revealed
this Thursday a new trailer for the anime of Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance
of Spring, confirming that the series will premiere on March 28,
2026.
The main
promotional video not only shows the spectacular animation by Wit
Studio, but also previews the musical themes of the series. Vocaloid's
renowned producer and composer Orangestar is in charge of
producing and performing both the opening film, "Petals feat. Kase",
as the ending, "Hana Ikada feat. Kase".

direction of the project falls to Ken Yamamoto, with veteran Kazuhiro
Furuhashi acting as animation consultant. The soundtrack is composed
by acclaimed composer Kensuke Ushio.

About
the work
The story
is based on a myth where Winter, being the only season and feeling too lonely,
created Spring to love it. Eventually, the earth wished to rest, thus Summer
and Autumn were born. This cycle is maintained by the "Agents of the Four
Seasons". The plot follows Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, who
disappeared ten years ago taking her station with her. Now, after countless
hardships, he has returned to restore the cycle and send his love into Winter.
The light
novel series (Shunka Shūtō Daikōsha) was written by Kana
Akatsuki, creator of the acclaimed Violet Evergarden, and
illustrated by Suoh. The work reached first place in the New Titles
category of the Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! guide in its 2022
edition.
