The return
to "The Hole" has a confirmed date and time. The official website for
the anime adaptation of Q Hayashida's manga revealed this Sunday the key visual
for the second season of Dorohedoro. The image, illustrated by
character designer Tomohiro Kishi, announces that the premiere will
be next Wednesday, April 1 at 11:00 p.m. (JST), with an
"almost simultaneous release worldwide" across various platforms.
Originally
scheduled for 2025, this new installment continues the story of Caiman and
Nikaido in their brutal search for identity and revenge against the sorcerers.

of the second season of Dorohedoro
The
production is still in charge of the MAPPA studio, maintaining
the creative core that defined the visual style of the first part. Yuichiro
Hayashi returns as director and Tomohiro Kishi continues
in character design.

About
the franchise
The story
is set in a gloomy city known as "The Hole," where a clan of
sorcerers kidnaps people to use them in heinous experiments. Caiman, a man with
a reptilian head and amnesia, hunts these sorcerers along with his companion
Nikaido to undo the spell that transformed him. The first season, made up of 12
episodes, debuted on Netflix Japan in January 2020 and reached the rest of the
world in May of the same year.
