It seemed
that the High Command had hidden the files from us, but the wait was finally
over. After long years of drought and uncertainty since its original
announcement in 2021, the second season of Saga of Tanya the Evil (Youjo
Senki) has officially confirmed its arrival on television for July
2026. The news exploded along with a new promotional trailer that returns
us to the mud of the trenches, proving that our favorite loli's relentless war
against Being X is far from over.

Tanya the Evil details
For this new
offensive, the production committee has implemented some important
replacements. Studio NUT is once again taking the reins of
animation, but the general direction now falls to Takayuki Yamamoto,
who replaces Yutaka Uemura in the main chair. Fortunately for purists, key
creatives like Kenta Ihara (series composition) and Yuji Hosogoe (character
design) are standing firm in their positions, ensuring that the warlike and
pessimistic atmosphere remains intact.
About
Saga of Tanya the Evil
In case
you've just been drafted, the story centers on a modern, calculating, faithless
Japanese office worker who, after being killed, is reincarnated by a deity (he
derogatorily calls Being X) in a fantasy world embroiled in a bloody world war.
Now, under the guise of a little orphan girl named Tanya Degurechaff,
she uses her historical and tactical knowledge to quickly rise through the
ranks of the Imperial army. Her only goal is to get a comfortable and safe
position in the rearguard, but her own lethal talent pushes her towards the
bloodiest fronts.
