this family comedy will land on Japanese television on July 3. The

About Uchi no Otouto-domo ga Sumimasen
Akira
Ozaki's original
work began serialization in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine
in early 2020, gaining so much traction that it even inspired a live-action
film in late 2024. The plot puts us in the shoes of Ito Hazui, a high school
girl who is only looking for a peaceful life. Her plans go overboard when her
mother remarries and drags her to live with her new family, turning her into
Ito Narita.
Overnight,
the protagonist discovers that she now has four younger half-siblings, each
with a more complicated personality than the last. Despite his genuine efforts
to integrate and lead the party in peace, his biggest obstacle turns out to be
Gen, the quartet's older brother. This boy maintains a rather cold and distant
attitude towards her, although under that apathetic façade, he occasionally
lets out flashes of kindness that throw Ito off completely.
