A trip to
the past to correct the mistakes of adolescence is about to begin. It has been
officially confirmed that the anime adaptation of the light novel Haibara-kun
no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game (Haibara's Teenage New Game+)
will begin airing on Japanese television on April 2. The update was
accompanied by a new promotional image and a second official trailer. The video
offers a preview of the opening film titled "Fly Again!!", performed
by Ami Maeshima. On the other hand, the ending will be called
"Dramatic Tohiko" and will be in charge of Aimi.

The
production of this rom-com is in the hands of Studio Comet. The
direction of the project falls to Misuzu Hoshino, while the
composition of the series is supervised by Keiichiro Ochi. The
character designs are adapted to animation by Hiromi Ono and
the soundtrack is composed by Sonosuke Takao.
About
the franchise
The story
follows Natsuki Haibara, a college student with social anxiety and
multiple regrets about his time in high school. Inexplicably, he experiences a
seven-year time jump into the past, waking up a month before he starts his
freshman year of high school. Armed with the experience of his "past
life", Haibara will try to avoid his old mistakes, climb the school social
pyramid and conquer the girl of his dreams.
The
original work, written by Kazuki Amamiya, began serialization
through the publishing house Hobby Japan in December 2021,
previously winning the grand prize at the 2020 HJ Novel Awards. The franchise
also features a full-color webtoon adaptation illustrated by Misaomaru.
