Fate as the
ultimate villain of an otome game can be rewritten. A new trailer has been
revealed for the second season of the anime adaptation of The Most
Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior (Higeki no
Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Min no Tame ni Tsukushimasu),
confirming the start of its broadcasts on Japanese television for April
7.
This new
promotional preview allows you to listen to a fragment of the opening entitled
"Ego", performed by the musical group Retroriron.
Additionally, the production confirmed that the closing theme, or ending, will
be called "Tarareba" and will be performed by Garakuta.

Production
of the sequel remains at the OLM Team Yoshioka studio. The
project has the return of Norio Nitta as general director. The
scripts and composition of the series continue under the supervision of Deko
Akao, while Hitomi Kono reprises her role in character
design.
About
the franchise
The story
of this isekai follows Pride Royal Ivy, who at the age of eight
discovers that she has been reincarnated as the future evil queen and final
boss of an otome game. Equipped with exceptional intelligence and overwhelming
powers as crown princess, her original destiny dictated to wreak havoc on the
kingdom. However, she decides to abandon the role of villain and use her
position to protect the game's male love interests, seeking to alter the future
and save as many as she can.
The
original light novel is written by Tenichi and illustrated
by Suzunosuke. Its physical release began in June 2019 under
the Ichijinsha label. The franchise inspired a manga
adaptation by Akiko Kawano, which was recently relaunched in March
2025 under the title The Savior's Pride to cover a new story
arc.
