Arthur
Leywin's relentless journey through a world full of magic and monsters is about
to get a lot more intense. The committee behind the animated adaptation of the
global internet phenomenon released the main trailer and a new promotional
poster for The Beginning After The End Season 2. Accompanied by
this spectacular footage, it was confirmed that the long-awaited sequel will
officially land on April 1, with global distribution through the
Crunchyroll catalog.
To further
raise fans' expectations, the video trailer featured the chords of the
new opening theme. The experienced rock band SIX
LOUNGE will be in charge of injecting adrenaline with the song
"Sayonara Janai Ho ga Ii". For their part, the emotional closure of
each episode will be in the hands of the idol group 22/7,
who will perform the ending theme titled "Futatsu no Michi".

To
guarantee the technical and visual continuity of the work, the production
remains firmly established in the barracks of Studio A-CAT. The
core of the creative team returns almost intact for this new stage: Keitaro
Motonaga takes up the baton in the chair of main director, working
closely with Takamitsu Kono in the composition and supervision
of the scripts. Character designs are still in charge of artist Masami
Sueoka, while the epic original soundtrack will once again be composed by
the talented Keiji Inai.
About
the original work
The
overwhelming success of this fantasy and reincarnation franchise was born from
the mind of author TurtleMe, who began publishing the original
story as a web novel in 2017. Its popularity exploded globally when it made the
leap to the webtoon format on the Tapas platform
in July 2018, initially featuring the brilliant illustrations of Fuyuki23.
Over the
years, the work has evolved enormously. In June 2023, the Rise Entertainment
studio took the reins of the graphics section from the sixth season of the
comic. As a curious fact for readers of the original material, this animated
announcement comes at a perfect time, since the seventh season of the webtoon has
its premiere scheduled for this March 12.
