24, 2026, during the special developer broadcast titled "To
Snezhnaya and the Future", HoYoverse officially announced
that Snezhnaya, the seventh and last great nation of Teyvat, will
arrive in Genshin Impact on August 12, 2026.

The arrival
of Snezhnaya marks a monumental milestone in the game's narrative. As the
homeland of the mysterious Tsaritsa (the Cryo Archon) and the infamous
organization of the Fatui, this region will serve as the culmination of
storylines that have been building since the title's release in 2020. The
developers promised that players will finally discover the ultimate fate of the
six Gnosis collected and witness a major turning point in the Traveler's
journey across the world.

who have explored Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, and Natlan, this
expansion represents much more than a new map: it's the narrative climax of the
Archon saga, answering questions that have kept the community theorizing for

Trains,
symphonies and new icy mechanics
