The summer season continues to give us surprises in the field of school romance. On Monday, April 27, the official website for the television anime adaptation of Yusaku Sakaishi and Sakura Miwabe's light novel Rich Girl Caretaker (Saijo no Osewa) revealed a new promotional image and confirmed the addition of two talented voice actresses to its ensemble. The project, which mixes everyday life with a funny romantic comedy, maintains its premiere in July as one of the most striking titles of the year.

The voices behind this unusual relationship

To bring to life the hilarious interactions between the protagonist and the eccentric girls of high society, the production has assembled a top-notch cast. Today's announcement expands on the cast that had already been revealed earlier in the year. Here are the main seiyuus who will spearhead this romance of social classes:

  • Yuuto Uemura as the dedicated Itsuki Tomonari.

Thorfinn in Vinland Saga and Hiro in Darling in the Franxx.

  • Konomi Kohara as the double-faced Hinako Konohana.

Chika Fujiwara in Kaguya-sama: Love is War and Roxy Migurdia in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.

  • Saori Oonishi joining as Mirei Tennoji.

Aiz Wallenstein in DanMachi and Shikimori in Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie.

  • Rio Tsuchiya joining as Narika Miyakojima.

The team that will cheer on the perfect lady

Behind the fluidity of this work is the talented Studio Brains Base, led by director Shuusei Morishita, who already has experience dealing with adorable dynamics after his work on School Babysitters. The scripts are under the strict supervision of Aya Yoshinaga, while the musical section falls to the trio composed of Natsumi Tabuchi, Hanae Nakamura and Mayo Kurihara, ensuring that the soundtrack manages to capture both the absurd and tender moments that characterize this Hobby Japan franchise.

What secret is the richest girl in Japan hiding?

If you haven't given the manga illustrated by Sorahiko Mizushima a chance yet, the premise will get you hooked quickly. The story follows Itsuki Tomonari, a high school boy who, after accidentally getting involved in a kidnapping attempt, ends up becoming the personal caregiver of Hinako Konohana, a young woman from one of the largest financial conglomerates in the country.

To the rest of the world, Hinako is the epitome of elegance: beautiful, sparkling, and perfect. However, in the privacy of her home, her true nature comes to light: she is a lazy and clumsy girl who lacks any basic skills for daily life. Committed to protecting her false public image for family reasons, Itsuki begins to pamper and care for her in a devoted manner. Gradually, the boundary between master and servant begins to blur as Hinako becomes hopelessly dependent on him, sparking a tender and hilarious romance behind closed doors.
