The
orphanage opens its doors once again for lovers of pure suspense. During the
official live broadcast of the Jump Press held this
Monday, April 27, the publisher Shueisha blew up
the networks by confirming that the successful thriller manga created
by the duo of Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu, The
Promised Neverland (Yakusoku no Neverland), will return to the pages
of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The return will materialize in
the form of a special chapter (one-shot) that is scheduled to
be released this summer.
The five
major projects of the tenth anniversary
This
new one-shot is just the tip of the iceberg. The official
announcement was accompanied by a celebratory message and a small preview of
the storyboard (name) of the episode. Since the franchise is a decade
old since its initial publication in August 2016, the committee decided to
throw the house out the window. Instead of focusing on new voice actors or
anime projects, the publisher revealed that this new manga is the first
of five major projects planned for the tenth
anniversary. The list of confirmed celebrations for 2026 includes:
- A new one-shot chapter: Scheduled to arrive at
the Shonen Jump in the summer.
- A theatrical musical
adaptation: It
will be presented in Tokyo next winter.
- Full color sleeve: The release of a fully
colored digital version of the original work.
- Pop-Up Stores: Physical spaces with
exclusive merchandise that will tour several cities in Japan during May
and June.
- An online lottery: Special giveaways for
international and local fans to get their hands on unpublished art.

dark truth does Grace Field House hide?
For those
looking to immerse themselves in this franchise or need a refresher on why this
psychological thriller sold millions of copies until its completion in June
2020, the story is a master of narrative deception. The plot takes us to
the Grace Field House orphanage, an idyllic and peaceful place
where a group of orphaned children live in absolute happiness under the care of
their loving "Mother".
Everything
comes crashing down the night the three brightest kids in the house, Emma,
Norman, and Ray, break the only rule of the place and discover the creepy
truth: the orphanage is actually a high-quality human farming farm to feed
monsters, and they're the next main course. In a desperate race against time
and the Mother's lethal system, the protagonists will have to devise the
perfect escape plan if they are to survive, unleashing one of the most
memorable intellectual and emotional battles in the recent history of Shonen
Jump.
