Holding out alone for ten years against demonic
forces while your companions escape is the kind of feat that makes anyone a
legend. What comes next, navigating normal life once you're that legend, is
where the story gets interesting. I Became a Legend After My 10
Year-Long Last Stand released a new trailer revealing its theme songs
and confirming its premiere on Amazon Prime Video for July
3, 2026. The anime arrives after a delay since April, justified by the team
as additional time to polish the production.
The opening is called "Soredemo
Donten o Koeteyuku" (Even so, we go beyond the cloudy skies) and
is performed by the rock band sajou no hana. The ending song "Ari
Kitari na Nichijō to Kōun na Hibi e" (Towards the Ordinary Days
and the Lucky Ones) is performed by the rock-idol group MEISHOHIKOKAI. The
trailer features both clues about scenes that show both Luck's resilience
in his legendary last bastion and the challenges of his return to the world
that awaits him as a hero.

Stand is a
light novel by Ezogingitune with illustrations by DeeCHA that
began as a web novel in Shosetsuka ni Naro in June 2018. The
first printed volume arrived in February 2019 and the eighth is scheduled for
July 2026. Chaco Abeno's manga adaptation has been compiled in
nineteen volumes. Between novels and manga, the franchise exceeds 4.45
million copies in circulation. The story follows Luck, a
soldier who decides to be left alone to cover the retreat of his comrades in
the face of overwhelming demonic forces. Through skill, strategy and
determination, he manages to survive for exactly ten years. The problem, or the
opportunity, begins when he returns and has to learn to exist as a legend.
