one of those who enjoy seeing the quiet girl in the class falling in love with
the problematic at school, this news is exactly what the doctor ordered. To the
enormous joy of romance lovers, the official website of Megane's
animated adaptation, Tokidoki, Yankee-kun (Glasses with a Chance of
Delinquent) has just released a new and new promotional trailer. In
addition to revealing a couple of visual images, the production committee
confirmed that the series will officially hit the small screen sometime
in 2027.
The premise
of this story introduces us to Momose, a student who longs to have a completely
peaceful school life and wants to stay as far away from bullies and trouble as
possible. His life seems perfect when he meets Ichikura, a boy with black hair
and glasses who looks like the typical kind and ordinary student. However, it
turns out that in high school this guy was a criminal of the worst. Although he
swears on his knees that he has changed and left that life behind, his instinct
to grab blows at the slightest provocation is still intact, forcing our
protagonist to decide whether she will keep his dark secret or send him flying
to protect his longed-for peace.

industry knows perfectly well how to exploit these formulas, and to
guarantee a good dose of humor, the project is in the joint hands of Studio
Flad and Wao World. In the director's chair we find the
veteran Makoto Hoshino (known for his work in Banished
from the Hero's Party), accompanied by the scripts of Megumi Shimizu and
the character designs of Ruriko Watanabe. For its part, the original
manga created by Naruki has been a resounding success
since its debut in 2021 in Bessatsu Friend magazine, surpassing one million
copies in circulation after having resumed its serialization thanks to the
overwhelming support of its loyal readers.
