The most
powerful bald blows in anime are ready to reverberate again on the small
screen. Bandai Namco Filmworks released a new video trailer that confirmed that
the second part of the third season of One-Punch Man will hit screens in
January 2027, also accompanied by a new promotional image that warmed up
the spirits among fans of the work.
The great
news for music lovers is that the legendary group JAM Project will be
back to perform the opening theme titled "Never Done - SUPREME POWER VS
ULTIMATE FEAR -". The band, famous for setting the unbridled pace of the
previous installments of the bald man in a cape, promises to deliver a powerful
song that will fit perfectly with the escalation of violence in the Monster
Association
On the
technical side, the J.C. Staff studio resumes the animation of the
series under the direction of Shinpei Nagai. The creative team brings
back key pieces from the previous installments, such as Tomohiro Suzuki
in charge of the supervision of the scripts and the talented Chikashi Kubota
in the character design, collaborating this time with Shinjiro Kuroda and
Ryosuke Shirakawa. The art direction is in the hands of Sakura Murakami, the photography
is in charge of Yuki Hirose, while Yoshikazu Iwanami directs the sound and Makoto
Miyazaki returns to be in charge of the musical composition.
This new
batch of episodes will give continuity to the events presented in the first
half of the project, originally released at the end of 2025. The voice cast
will retain its main figures, highlighting Makoto Furukawa in the role
of Saitama, Kaito Ishikawa as Genos, and Hikaru Midorikawa
playing the hero hunter Garou.
About
One-Punch Man
One-Punch
Man is an action-superhero story originally created as a webmanga by author ONE in 2009.
The work acquired a cult status after becoming a digital manga illustrated by
the master Yusuke Murata, whose dazzling drawing quality began to be
published on the Tonari no Young Jump portal of the Shueisha publishing house
from June 2012.
The story
follows Saitama, a seemingly ordinary hero who, after training so hard that he
lost all his hair, managed to gain such excessive strength that he is able to
defeat any threat or giant monster with a single blow. Tired of the lack of
excitement in his fights and desperately looking for an opponent who will push
him to the limit, the bald man joins the Hero Association alongside his loyal
cyborg disciple, Genos, as the world faces increasingly destructive
disaster-level threats.
