A Space for the Unbound, the slice-of-life video game

Finally, and after 5 years of its initial announcement, Mojiken Studio will release A Space for the Unbound for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms for this winter.

This is the promising advance:

The story of A Space for the Unbound is told as if it were a slice-of-life anime with visual pixel art style, and it is about a couple of boys in the 90s in Indonesia, who face problems and joys typical of age, plus themes of anxiety and depression… and there are supernatural powers at play!

Ready for a retro game that will make us feel like a slice-of-life anime?

Something interesting is that, although the game will be released until winter 2020, it is possible right now to download a kind of prologue for free via Steam. Those who have played it and know Indonesia assure that the visual style and the scenes do pay a fair tribute to the region in the late nineties, and at the same time there are interesting winks to anime movies like your name.

The music for A Space for the Unbound is composed by Masdito “Ittou” Bachtiar (Dororo), which is also notable for its beauty and consistency with the plot.
