This is the first animated feature film directed by Shigeyoshi Tsukahara, and began with a first financing campaign conducted in December 2018 that closed in February 2019 with 6,901,864 yen (approximately $ 63,000) from 397 donors, representing 276% of the original amount requested, which was 2,500,000 yen (approximately $ 22,100).

Kurayukaba Synopsis
The story unfolds underground, below the Ogi district, in a kingdom of dreams that floats in a haze of smoke.
