When the director behind gems like Strike Witches and Vividred Operation decides to bring together everything he's passionate about (i.e., cute girls, imposing highlights, and good animation) into one project, it's time to pay attention. The production of the original Vertex Force anime released its second official trailer to start the engines for its premiere set for October 3, also revealing the artists behind its musical themes and new additions in the voices.

The new video teaser offered a first look at the opening track titled "Synchro Blue," performed by Japanese pop duo ClariS, while singer Hashimero will bring the ending theme to life with the song "Emerald." Along with this musical display, the production confirmed the arrival of two important names to the voice cast: Kazuki Ura will play Alan and the legendary Nana Mizuki will lend her voice to the character of EDVA. They join an already announced main cast that includes Makoto Koichi as young Akira Todo, Kaede Hondo as her sister Haruka, Ami Koshimizu as Eleanor Northbrook, Megumi Han as Lala Zudenstein and Rie Takahashi in the role of Yoko Nishina.

Behind the scenes, the SMDE studio leads the animation production under the general direction of Kazuhiro Takamura, who is not only in charge of the character design, but also supervises the writing of the scripts together with Masashi Suzuki. The project stands out for its careful conceptual design, with Kanetake Ebikawa in the designs of the "Engine" and JNTHED in charge of ENIA's design line, accompanied by Goro Kuji in the assistant director, Masahito Onoda in the main direction of animation and Nobuaki Nobusawa in the composition of the soundtrack.

About Vertex Force

The plot follows the daily life of Akira, a boy who lives in tranquility with his mother and older sister Haruka. The apparent normality of their lives will collapse when strange and disturbing events begin to unfold on a global level.
