seatbelts because the final stretch of the Thousand Year Bloody War arc is
going to take a little longer than expected. The production committee
behind Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity officially
announced that the long-awaited episodes 49 and 50 will not air on their
originally scheduled dates, but will hit screens until October. The reason
behind this handbrake is simple and forceful: they want to cook the animation
calmly to deliver a visually flawless climax.
With this
readjustment in the broadcast schedule, episode 49 will make its official debut
on October 19, while episode 50 will premiere just the following
week, on October 26. Aware that leaving the community on
tenterhooks for weeks is not easy, the production team has prepared a special
selection of compilation episodes to liven up the wait.
During the
days leading up to the return of the main story, outstanding installments that
review the most intense moments of the anime will be broadcast. These will
include the iconic episode 7 titled "BORN IN THE DARK" on September
19, followed by episode 28 "KILL THE KING" on September 26, episode
46 "THE END" on October 5, and finally episode 48 "THE END TWO
WORLD" on October 12. The production took the opportunity to offer a
sincere apology to viewers for the delay, assuring that they continue to work
at the highest level to close this adaptation as it deserves.
