The author of the manga series Aki Sora, Masahiro Itosugi revealed through his Twitter account that he is ready to start drawing a new manga. The author stressed that, although his outline and idea have already been approved, the manga will not appear in a magazine until next year.
Itosugi explained that it is difficult to make plans with a specific date due to the effects of Korosuke (Korosuke is the robot that appears in the manga Kiteretsu Daihyakka written by Fujiko Fujio, and that has become the nickname by the Japanese for the new disease by Coronavirus or COVID-19).
Itosugi launched the Iinari manga in Akita Shoten's Monthly Shonen Champion magazine in May 2016 and ended it in January 2019. The story centers on the beautiful and intelligent student council president Misa Arisugawa. When a student named Hatano discovers his dark secret, the twisted relationship between the two will begin.
The author also published the Uwa-koi manga in Shonengahosha's Young King magazine. This play inspired two live-action movies that were released directly to Blu-ray / DVD in July 2014.
However, the author is far more recognized for the adult romance manga Aki Sora, which he published in Akita Shoten's Champion Red Ichigo magazine between September 2007 and April 2010. The publisher collected the manga in a total of six volumes, and the work inspired two OVAs produced by Hoods Entertainment Studios and released in December 2009 and July 2010.
