The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Ukyou Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, announced that the broadcast of episode 155 of the series will be delayed until further notice. The statement included a new promotional image for the current arch.
The episode was scheduled to air on May 3. The statement added that the broadcast of episode # 154 scheduled for April 26 will be carried out normally, and the staff will announce the series resumption date as soon as decided. The transmission suspension decision responds to the instructions of the Japanese government to slow down the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
Kodachi and Ikemoto began publishing the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga in Shueisha publisher's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on a monthly basis in May 2016, and later moved it to V Jump magazine in July 2019. The publisher published the tenth compilation volume last January 4.
The anime adaptation has been currently broadcast since April 2017, under the production of Studio Pierrot.
